Part Ten – Bill’s Big Biller Checklist: The Tactical 10

These are the ten tactical must-haves—the practical, no-nonsense truths every Big Biller lives by:

  1. Know the End Game
If you can’t win the game, don’t play it. Go where you can dominate.
  1. Paint a Vision of Benefit
People may listen to features, but they buy outcomes. Lead with what’s in it for them.
  1. Zero In on the Problem
Candidates and clients alike are motivated by pain. The best recruiters solve it.
  1. Recruiting is a Contact Sport
Relationships are built on repeated, meaningful contact. Show up. Follow up. Stay visible.
  1. Plan the Work, Work the Plan
Focus only on what drives revenue. Big Billers don’t hope—they execute.
  1. Don’t Play Losing Games
Time, skill, and knowledge are your assets. Only invest them where the odds are in your favor.
  1. Time Kills All Deals
The longer it drags, the more likely it dies. Big Billers manage time like a weapon—bringing decisions to a swift, clean close.
  1. It’s Not a Job, It’s a Lifestyle
Big Billers stay in the zone. This isn’t something you do—it’s who you are.
  1. Lead with Respect
Clients, candidates, colleagues—treat everyone the way you want to be treated. It still works.
  1. It’s Not Done Until the Check Clears
Never assume. Follow through until the money is in the bank.

So, there you have it—The Tactical Ten. Share it. Teach it. Live it. Help your recruiters reconnect with what really matters—and what really works.

Next Week: A brand-new series kicks off. Stay tuned for the topic reveal!

Until then—stay sharp, stay committed, and keep moving forward.
